City Gates Art Glass Sculpture

$2,450.00

One of a kind

Rays of warm, golden light shine through frames of deep-hued geometric strips of glass in this architectural sculpture, part of a series of pieces inspired by cities around the world. The two contradicting techniques used to form this piece, on edge construction and organic glass flow, result in a dynamic ode to artful construction. The sculpture is formed by firing in a kiln and slumping the glass on a custom form. Each arc is free-standing and can be moved to fit the display space. Every sculpture is unique, and appearance will vary slightly from piece to piece. Dimensions are for each piece.
